You are always welcome in our home. Our lovely 5 bedroom house has been in the Deiss family for 4 generations and is filled with warmth and charm. During your stay with us, you will be treated like one of the family. Each cozy bedroom has it's own private bath and either a gas or wood fireplace, along with breathtaking views of the lake and forest that are just a few steps away from the wraparound porch we will gladly serve you coffee and tea each morning.
We serve three home-cooked meals each day in our spacious dining room that also looks out onto the fantastic view of the lakefront. We have canoes and rowboats that are at your disposal, and also have lovely walking paths if you're inclined to take a stroll through the woods. In the evenings we have bonfires and marshmallow roasts, and also transportation to local spots and events, either by horse and wagon, or our restored Woody station wagon.
Come and stay with us, we'll be glad to see you.
Laura, I love the design. The color is relaxing and inviting. The wording is catchy and you have done a great job explaining your business as well. It makes me want to come for a visit.
ReplyDeleteI like the Color and background, a lot of information and well designed.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Laura! The only suggestion i have is to indent your paragraphs. Other than that everything looks fantastic. Professional layout and a great warming color.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of the feedback Shannon, Josh, and Carson, it's greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeletePlease add spaces between your paragraphs.
ReplyDeleteLaura I went to your twitter and had a hard time finding your business if you could make a more noticeable link that would be appreciated
ReplyDeleteI added the business name, great suggestion, thanks Josh!
DeleteHi Laura!
ReplyDeleteYour blog looks great! And your twitter is coming along great as well. I have a couple of suggestions, you don't have to follow them though, I would explain your business a little more on twitter. You were very specific on your blog, however I was a little confused on your business just by your twitter. Also, I didn't have the same feel going from your blog to your twitter. It kind of seemed like a different business. Don't forget you EEI tweets :) Everything else seems to be coming along nice. Good luck with the rest of this class!
I agree, I'm going to work on blending them together a bit better, thanks for the input!
DeleteNice blog and twitter!!
ReplyDeleteApples are ripe and ready for the picking, just a few steps off the front portch. Take a stroll, pick a few, I'll make you an apple pie for dessert, mmmmm
ReplyDeleteHi Laura, I like your twitter account but I think the background could be something more eye catching to relate to what your business is maybe?
